    Since its first release back in the 1960's the Original Meyers Manx Buggy has been the inspiration for hundreds of copies and 1000's of passionate Buggy owners.
    Although often copied, no other builder has ever managed to get the delicate balance between shape, size, style and correct proportion.

    The Kick-Out is placed on a shortened chassis, preferably of IRS vintage, and shortened 14 1/2" now, however it will still fit on an older chassis already shortened 14 1/4".

    For the new generation of buggy lover it is not about imitating previous generations discoveries it is about establishing their own. Easy to build, no chassis shortening, no crawling under the dash to mess with the wiring and a style others can only hope to achieve. One only needs to roll the old VW body off to one side, do a spring house cleaning on the chassis and redecorate with the sexiest wheels and tires. Once mom, dad and the kids are on board there’s still room for the ice chest, a mini-spare under the back seat and plenty of room for the tools and extra gas under the opening hood.

    The DualSport Manxter fills the need for a stylish, significant, off-road machine that is still street-legal. Too many people spend serious dollars for an off-road machine that can only be used in restricted parts of the desert. The Manxter DualSport’s body was raised 3” to accommodate the attention given to the heavy-duty mid-travel suspension and the wheelbase has been extended by nearly 6” for better off-road stability. Though the basic body-style is the same as the Manxter 2+2, the stance of this car has a far more aggressive look.
