The DS Bruce Meyers as it is tagged due to the fact it was originally owned and built by / for Bruce Meyers was the first production Manxter DualSport. It was aimed at establishing a market for all those out there who wanted the added advantages of a Manxter 2+2 but the ease of fitting larger wheels, longer travel suspension and other offroad upgrades to a body that was designed to take them.
The DualSport first hit the road in early 2005.
The Glitter Beast as Bruce calls it was built on a 1971 VW Beetle Chassis. The rear is factory IRS pivot Box'es and the front is a Proprietary Meyers Manx Mid Travel Beam. This setup sits 2" further forward than stock and is 6" wider. It has been fitted with 4" over stock arms and combo spindles. These combo spindles are fitted with CNC Disc Brakes

In the rear is a set of 3 x 3 Arms with Type 1 stub axles and bearings fitted with CNC Disc Brakes. The e-brake is managed by a separate CNC Mechanical caliper and factory cables and hand brake lever.
The engine is an EJ25T which was built by Johnsons Bugs back in 2005. It is pretty much stock from what I can tell and has an very old Microtech LTX12 ECU.
Inside is a set of PRP Completion Bucket seats with head rest and a single DualSport Bench seat in back.

Steering is taken care of by a HOWE power assist Ram and Diablo Rack.
Wheels were various but ended up with some 15 x 3.5 bead locked Ultra's up front and 15 x 6 Bead Locked Ultras out back.
