With the engine and transmission in place we can now begin to look at the cooling setup. There is currently no off the shelf solution for side cooling in a Manxter and everyone who is running radiators in the side pods has done it as a one off with mixed results.
Like all custom builds it all becomes very sequential in that you need to have this in place to work out what to do next. With the engine in we can for the first time fit up the side pods and start looking at radiator options. While we were waiting we have a number of options to explore with the end result being a robust cooling system which is simple in design and neat in execution.
The radiators we will be using are going to be either a 2 or 3 core aluminum unit which are going to be custom units but we will be carrying them on the shelf to allow others to get a bolt in solution in future.
